Participates in design, development and implementation of systems engineering activities. Responsible for components of complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities. Serves as a seasoned/proficient technical resource; provides tech knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor. Required Qualifications + 5-10 years experience with z/VM operating system support including: + General z/VM configuration including network (TCP/IP and FTP) + General z/VM problem determination and corrective actions + Familiar with IBM Service Request (IBM Link) + Ordering and Installing maintenance/RSU (Shop Z and VM/SES). + Operating system version upgrades. + Coding and maintaining custom systems utilities and exits (REXX and CMS Pipes) + Building z/VM guest systems (z/OS and Linux).
