Job Title: Zonal Sales Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Zonal Sales Manager to drive sales growth, develop key customer relationships, and lead a team of Territory Managers and Sales Engineers within the assigned zone. The role involves strategic planning, business development, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the assigned zone Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities Prepare and manage sales forecasts and budgetsBusiness Development
Acquire new customers and maintain strong relationships with existing clients Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within the region Represent the organization at trade fairs, conferences, and customer meetingsTeam Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of Territory Managers and Sales Engineers Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback and training Foster a results-driven and customer-focused sales cultureCustomer Relationship Management (CRM)
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts Address and resolve customer concerns effectively Ensure high levels of customer satisfactionOperational & Market Intelligence
Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to develop competitive solutions Ensure adherence to pricing policies and internal processes Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and industry trendsRequired Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering 7–10 years of experience in industrial / technical salesKey Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of industrial equipment, material handling systems, and process technologies Knowledge of air pollution control systems, size reduction, and conveying solutions Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills Proficiency in CRM tools, ERP systems, and sales analytics platformsPreferred Candidate Profile
