MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP AND PROGRAMME OPERATION
Alignment with the Child Well Being Outcomes (CWBOs). All APs are LEAP aligned.Properly follow LEAP standards and guidelines for developing designs and plans for the APs within the allowable space, according to the local context.Review and provide feedback on APs' DIPs and or annual planning.Monitor each AP based on the monthly reports and do necessary follow ups.Ensure all APs are following financial policies and procedures by reviewing the payment requests and provide final approvals and or recommending approvals.All AP are at the "acceptable risk" on the integrated audit.At least twice a year monitoring visits to each AP.Monitor and ensure that community based sustainable development process is carried out by the AP team.Support the AP Managers in the development of new approaches and strategies to be able to respond appropriately to the needs of the target communities.Support the AP manager in preparation of concept papers and project proposals and liaise with relevant SO and resource acquisition department for funding commitment for implementation of the projects.Provide recommendation for AP expansion areas.Provide guidance and monitor to ensure that the implementations are in line with the country strategy.Provide guidance on new initiatives taken by Global and Regional Levels and ensure that the AP teams understand and implement the activities accordingly.Manage human resources appropriately and strengthen healthy working environment
Coaching and mentoring each AP manager and provide necessary counselling.Ensure effective team building progressively maintained in each AP. Second line leaderships identified and given the necessary mentoring and coaching.Support and motivate AP team members to be able to work in more innovative waysAdvise, guide and assist staff with appropriate capacity building and development opportunities.Good relationship with each respective person from AP teams, technical support teams and other stakeholders.Respect and listen AP team's voices and provide appropriate suggestions to find the best ways to handle and making good decisions which base on Win - Win approach.Internal/External Relationships
SO queries are responded within a reasonable period of time.SO requests, feedback and strategies are shared with the AP teams within a reasonable period of time.Timely sharing to SOs on updated development of the APs and conduct necessary negotiations with respective SO.Accommodate donor and SO visits.Negotiate with SO for funding commitment are approved on timely basisStakeholders Relationship
Attend and represent WV Myanmar on technical sector meetings.Brief meeting results to PQ&D Division Manager Senior Manager for Zonal Operations and Operations Division ManagerFollow up action taken with AP teams.Arrange for AP teams to receive appropriate training related to sectors organized by UN and other INGOs.Represent WV in Divisional Level meetings for cooperation and collaboration.Represent WV in National level technical working groups.Support AP managers in coordinating with local authorities in the target communities by providing feedback on current trends and realities and provide management perspective on issues that they faced at the field level.Carry out or engage tasks with good judgement and responsibility.Perform additional duties and assignments proactively.By actively participating with manager in producing a relevant and jointly agreed development plan.The plan will identify key areas which will assist in personal and professional development consistent with World Vision’s strategic goals.KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Minimum five years and above managerial experience in related field is essentialBachelor's degree in any discipline is essentialMaster's degree in public engagement is preferableExcellent planning and organizing skillComputer literate and have high skills of information sourcing and gathering including internetExcellent knowledge of local context and organizational cultureExcellent interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent knowledge of international mediaGood judgement and knowledge of media ethicsGood knowledge of Myanmar Child Law, Labour Law, United Nations CRC, Excellent knowledge of Humanitarian Industry and ability to work autonomouslyMust be able to travel extensively within the country and internationally up to 50% of the timeExcellent command of Myanmar & EnglishApplicant Types Accepted:
