A typical day may involve: * Strategic Mainframe Solutions: Crafting client strategies for mainframe infrastructure and applications. * Comprehensive zStack Solutions: Defining and detailing IBM zStack solutions for client enhancement. * Effective Client Education: Delivering simplified proof of concepts and educating clients. * Building Trust for Cloud Deals: Building trust for closing complex Cloud technology deals. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strategic Alignment Mastery: Collaborative expertise in aligning business goals with technical solutions. * Stakeholder Engagement Prowess: Exceptional communication and consensus-building across diverse stakeholders. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Responsible for performing a variety of technical activities including installing, operating, planning and configuring complex client information systems, products, or networking systems/components as part of Demo or Pilot or Proof of Concept/Value. * Understand the stakeholder's business needs. Relate the business needs to technical expertise area. Articulate how the business needs can be met with solutions from the technical expertise area. * Able to articulate zStack Business Unit's vision, mission, and strategies. Know how zStack Business Unit strategy supports IBM's strategy. Understand how you contribute to the execution of the strategy and the implications to your work area and assignments, including knowledge of your organization's role in support of IBM's global perspective and marketplace. Know the key measurements for your unit and/or organization and demonstrate your ability to support these measurements in the work that you do. * The ability to collaborate and team effectively in different cultural settings and across countries. * Understand the relationship of the personal contribution to the context of the enterprise or project architecture. * Define problems/situations with clarity. Diagnose problem/situation/cause in a logical manner. Develop action plans that result in corrected problems and employee research, facts, data and measurements to solve problems and/or overcome undesirable situations.
