Gratifying! + This is an entry-level position focused on learning to set up and operate various equipment used in performing machining operations such as drilling, tapping, milling, broaching, tap removal and grinding on a variety of materials. Our Manual Machine Operators (MMO) + Receive instruction and work assignments from Process Supervisor or Self-Directed Work Team. + Handle material to and from work area, using jib or overhead cranes or other material handling equipment, as required. + Refer to work instructions, sketches, manuals, books, charts, military specifications and process sheets. + Perform checks and/or adjustments to processes as required to maintain tolerance. + Perform deburring operations with an assortment of tools. + Perform checks on equipment to maintain efficient and safe operations and report any deficiencies. + Keep work areas safe and clean. + This role could develop into a full scope MMO as the necessary skill development is sufficiently demonstrated. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Candidate must possess... + High school diploma or equivalent + High mechanical aptitude + Above average attention to detail **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Fabrication experience specifically with drilling, tapping, cutting, and/or milling **Pay Information** This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will determine your wages.
