\nWhy does this role exist?This role exists to bridge content production and performance analytics, ensuring every video is discoverable, clickable, and watchable. The specialist will standardize and scale optimization across multiple channels and genres—lifting CTR, watch time, and subscriber growth through data-driven metadata, thumbnails, and channel organization. As the company expands channel ownership and management, this role drives consistent, measurable growth and a healthy community presence.
The Impact you’ll makeMetadata & Search Optimization\nCraft SEO-informed titles, descriptions, tags, categories, and chapters tailored to Search, Suggested, and Browse.\nBuild keyword maps and maintain metadata playbooks/templates for repeatable optimization.\nImplement end screens, cards, and default upload settings; QA all uploads for accuracy and compliance.\n\n
Channel Architecture & Content Organization\n\nCreate and manage playlists and homepage sections to maximize session starts and watch time.\nMaintain an intuitive channel layout and refresh featured video and sections as needed.\nCoordinate publishing details with internal teams to keep the channel organized and on cadence.\n
Thumbnail Strategy & Creative Iteration\nUse provided AI image tools to create and iterate high-CTR thumbnails.\nA/B test thumbnail and title variants; analyze CTR, impressions-to-views, and retention to guide iterations.\nMaintain thumbnail/title guidelines and a library of proven patterns.\n\n
Audience & Community Engagement\n\nMonitor and respond to comments; foster constructive, brand-safe interactions.\nPin top comments and surface audience feedback and trends to stakeholders.\nProtect channel health by escalating policy or brand-safety issues promptly.\n\n
Competitive Research, Analytics & Reporting\n\nConduct competitor/trend audits to identify opportunities and emerging formats.\nTranslate YouTube Analytics insights (traffic sources, CTR, AVD, retention) into concrete optimization actions.\nTrack work in shared logs and deliver consistent progress reports on growth and experiments.\n
