Lead quarterly and annual planning process of Youth Ready Project under supervision of Youth Ready Project CoordinatorTake lead in the development of Annual Detailed Implementation Plans for Youth Ready Project. In collaboration with the Finance Team, work on annual Project Budget and planning.In collaboration with M&E specialists at Cluster level, coordinate the development of Youth Ready Project DM&E Plan.Cascading the annual Project Plan at Area Program level and translating it into detailed plans for local partners.20% Implementation and Integration
Coordinate World Vision and Implementing partner teams in assessing youth empowerment needs and developing appropriate plans in alignment with the project plan and Youth Ready Project Model in the cluster.Coordinate livelihoods team in preparing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for Youth Ready Project activities for all the covered communities.Work with livelihoods team in planning to integrate Youth Ready Project with relevant livelihoods projects.20% Monitoring and Evaluation
Design guidelines and provide technical support in the identification and enrolment of Youth Ready project participants.Coordinate the development of Youth empowerment intervention monitoring tools.Create and ensure updates of the Project participants databaseCollaborate with M&E team to conduct baseline and evaluation surveys to measure the impact of the project.20% Capacity building
To be the focal point for Youth Ready Model in assigned clustersProvide capacity building to both World Vision and Implementing Partner staff on Youth Ready Project Model in cluster.Ensure trainees and other users have the adapted and user-friendly Youth Ready training materials.Contextualize Youth Ready and other entrepreneurship training materials to the context of Rwanda.20% Communication, Learning and Visibility
Document lessons learned and better practices on youth empowerment project and support the collection and documentation of impact and success stories.Organize learning events to share best practices and lessons learned at the cluster and national levelDevelop quality and timely project progress reports to be submitted to either National Office, Support Office, or/and the Donor.Provide quality data on time to show how the project is contributing to the National Strategy.KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
3 years of relevant experience in livelihood programming with focus on youth entrepreneurship and economic empowerment, Social Science, and environmental sustainability.Experience in working with most vulnerable communities, especially adolescents and youthAbility to work with youth empowerment stakeholders: parents, local leaders, TVETs principals, trainersShould be computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must be familiar with economic development models, e.g., Saving for Transformation (S4T), Microfinance (MFI), Local Value Chain Development (LVCD), Business Facilitation (BF), Microfinance, Climate Start Agriculture (CSA), Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture (NSA), Women Economic Empowerment (WEE), Regreening communities.A good understanding of the Rwanda multi-sectoral approach to graduate people out of poverty.Sound knowledge of the Rwanda Resilience and Livelihood programming contextProven experience in mobilizing communitiesExperience in identifying, establishing, and maintaining partnershipsExperience in preparing project and programme proposalsKnowledge of technical research methodsKnowledge in the development, validation, and monitoring of logical frameworkStrong project management skillsStrong capacity building skillsGood interpersonal skillsBelief in World Vision’s vision, mission, and core values.Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Bachelor`s Degree in Development Studies, Agribusiness, Education, Administration, Economics, Marketing, and any related fieldPreferably with a Master's Degree in Project Management and/or related, or PMP CertifiedPreferred Knowledge and Qualifications
