**Pay Rate:**
_The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*_
**What you'll be doing as a Yard Worker:**
+ General yard maintenance: painting, picking up trash, securing parts, crash wrapping vehicles, etc...
+ Utilizing a handheld/cell phone to answer questions and take pictures, using the handheld.
+ The ability to work outside in N.H. weather, rain or shine.
+ Vehicle Movement & Staging: Drive, park, and organize vehicles in designated areas, including moving them through auction lanes or to and from staging areas.
+ Inventory Management: Check in vehicles, verify VINs, tag vehicles, and assist with vehicle inventory tracking.
+ Lot & Grounds Maintenance: Clean the lot by picking up trash, removing debris, and performing general, routine grounds maintenance to keep the facility, including fences and asphalt, in good repair.
+ Auction Support: Set up the auction area, assist buyers in locating vehicles, and shuttle vehicles or staff as required.
+ Security & Safety: Close and lock gates, doors, and buildings. Perform regular patrols of the perimeter and lanes to ensure security.
+ Vehicle Preparation: Clean/detail vehicles to improve their appearance and value, including basic maintenance like checking tire pressure or fluid levels.
+ Equipment Operation: Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, carts, and, in some cases, snow removal or landscaping tools.
**Available shifts:**
Shift Timings - 1st Shift (Day) , 3rd Shift (Night)
**Job requirements:**
+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Basic computer skills
+ Mechanical skills preferred
+ Proficient verbal and written skills
+ Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
+ Ability to follow directions with a strong attention to detail
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Positive attitude/High Integrity
+ Ability to differentiate color
+ Occasional overtime as needed
+ Driver's license preferred
+ Other duties as assisted
+ Know how to use a weed wacker and blower, gas powered. Be able to drive a water truck, which is stick shift
+ Background check and drug screening required
