Yard Technician

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Description:

As a Yard Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping our fleet of mobile office trailers and storage containers in top condition. You’ll work indoors and outdoors performing general labor—cleaning, demolition, and material handling—and, as you grow, tackle multi-faceted repair tasks like carpentry, light electrical, plumbing, painting, and HVAC checks. An eye for quality, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment are essential.

Job Duties:

Load and unload trucks with trailers, materials, and equipmentClean and demolish interior fixtures in preparation for repairsPerform basic carpentry repairs: framing, finish carpentry, and flooringAssist with light electrical, plumbing, painting, and running-gear maintenanceConduct check-in/check-out inspections to document damage and scope of workComplete service paperwork for deliveries, pick-ups, and repairsMaintain accurate inventory of tools, parts, and supplies needed for service tasksProvide courteous customer service both in person and over the phoneEnsure trailers meet quality standards and are ready for scheduled delivery datesPerform HVAC system checks and routine maintenance per company guidelines

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
