Coordinate loading and unloading of flatbed trucks using forklifts, Lulls, and telehandlers. Manage incoming deliveries from suppliers and outgoing shipments to job sites. Review and verify load lists and Bills of Lading (BOLs) for accuracy and maintain an organized inventory of structural steel, handrails, and related components. Ensure all equipment, including forklifts, telehandlers, and painting systems, is properly maintained and serviced. Supervise yard personnel and assign daily tasks to ensure productivity. Train and mentor team members on equipment use, safety protocols, and operational procedures. Track inventory levels using yard management or inventory software. Prepare reports on yard activities, material usage, and equipment performance.

Essential SkillsExperience in a construction yard setting, preferably steel or lumber yards.Knowledge of loading trucks and setting truckloads accordingly.Experience in yard coordination with incoming and outgoing material shipments.Mechanical aptitude.Proficiency with forklifts and heavy machinery.Site coordination skills.Experience in steel manufacturing.
Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to use inventory systems such as SteelCoated/Power Fab systems.
Work Environment
The role requires working outside in various weather conditions throughout the week, Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 5 PM, with work scheduled every other weekend.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
