Description Temporary Yard Porter – Garden Grove (Starts Thursday, August 21) Pay Rate: $18/hr Schedule: + Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM + Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM + Friday: 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM + Sunday: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Ecology Auto Parts is seeking a Temporary Yard Porter to provide coverage at Trail’s End RV Storage while they work to fill the role permanently. This is an immediate-start assignment with the possibility of extension depending on the client’s hiring timeline. The Yard Porter will assist customers, maintain a clean and organized storage yard, and ensure the security of the facility. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with the ability to work independently. Start Date: Thursday, August 21 – Report at 1:00 PM for your first shift Attire: Casual Location: Garden Grove – Trail's End RV Storage Responsibilities: + Maintain facility cleanliness by sweeping parking areas, disposing of trash, and performing light maintenance + Monitor and secure premises (check locks, watch security cameras, report issues) + Greet and assist customers, responding promptly to needs + Keep accurate records of customer visits and incidents + Answer inbound calls and respond to inquiries + Provide light administrative support, including basic billing documentation + Ensure compliance with facility rules and safety policies Requirements • Proven experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, IBM AS/400, or similar platforms. • Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service. • Ability to handle inbound calls professionally and resolve inquiries effectively. • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. • Familiarity with billing functions and record-keeping. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
