**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Yard Laborer III is responsible for loading, unloading, organizing, cleaning and moving materials within the warehouse, rental yard or worksite. This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient yard operations and ensuring the safe handling of materials.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Reads work orders/shipping orders and follows verbal instructions to locate and move product in warehouse or rental yard.
+ Loads and unloads materials onto or from trucks, pallets, trays and racks manually or using equipment.
+ Attaches identifying tags or labels to material, marks information on cases, bundles and other packaging containers.
+ Stacks and assembles material/equipment into bundles and uses banding, skids and containers appropriately.
+ Cleans products, materials, equipment and yard area to maintain a safe and debris-free yard.
+ Identifies, sorts, organizes hardware and inventory materials.
+ May use form cleaning machinery, power tools and hand tools in renovating/cleaning forms as needed.
+ Uses power tools, cleaning machine, stacks and bands material to repair panels.
+ Participates in routine inventory cycle counts.
+ Able to operate various pieces of equipment such as forklifts, cranes and other yard equipment to move materials and machinery safely.
+ Comply with all safety policies and company procedures.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Must be a trained and certified forklift operator, with a current/valid license.
+ Ability to operate air tools, power tools and hand tools safely.
+ Must follow all safety operating procedures and wear required PPE.
+ Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
+ Ability to read, understand, and use all safety operating procedures and equipment.
+ Strong understanding of safe handling all hazardous materials.
**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Must have the ability to read, write and understand English.
+ Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, counting) required.
+ Minimum of 1 year experience in a rental, warehouse, or distribution environment as a material handler

+ Ability to stand, walk, kneel, carry, stoop, bend at the waist and climb for extended periods.
+ Regularly lift and move objects weighing up to 50lbs.
