What You'll Do as a Yard Jockey:

Move containers and trailers in the yard and to loading docksUnload and upload materials as neededPull containers from the yard and position at the doorPerform pre-shift machinery inspections and identify damagesMaintain accurate records of yard activity and trailer/container movementsEnsure a clean driving record and report any defective trailers or containersComply with all company safety policies and proceduresSupport warehouse operations, including shipping and receivingPerform other duties as assigned

Work Experience

You’ll Thrive in This Role If You:

A valid Class A CDL licenseA current DOT medical cardA clean driving recordAre dependable, safety-minded, and able to work independentlyCan work occasional Saturdays or extended hours as neededAre physically able to perform yard duties in a fast-paced environmentAre detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate logs and inspections
