Operates a tractor-trailer truck that moves trailers in and out of the dock doors and will be asked to transport cargo to and from specified destinations when needed. Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service. The driver will maintain radio or telephone contact with the DC Team to receive instructions for trailer moves in and out of our dock doors. When asked to transport cargo or empty trailers, the driver will maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. The driver will be responsible for vehicle inspection and report out maintenance if needed. Must be licensed to operate a truck. Must have a "satisfactory" driving record. Typically reports to a manager. Requires a Truck Driver (CDL-A).
