**Job Title: Yard Checker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Checker. In this role, you will be responsible for checking in cars at the company gate, preparing them for auction, and using a Samsung Galaxy Note to take pictures and answer questions about the cars. Any prior automotive experience is a plus, as you will need to perform oil change level tests. **Responsibilities** + Check in cars at the company gate. + Prepare cars for auction. + Use a Samsung Galaxy Note to take pictures of cars. + Answer questions regarding the cars. + Perform oil change level tests. **Essential Skills** + Mechanically inclined. + Experience in the automotive industry. + Proficiency in scanning and general labor. + Detail-oriented. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No experience necessary. + Any automotive experience is a plus. **Work Environment** The candidate will be working outdoors in all seasons and will be exposed to varying weather conditions. The nature of the job requires dealing with cars of all shapes and sizes, which can be a bit dirty. The dress code is seasonal, with jeans and a shirt in summer and a jacket in winter. Closed-toe shoes are required.
