This entry-level position offers opportunities for growth and career development. **Responsibilities** + Collaborate with team members to discuss daily tasks and work in pairs to pull orders. + Utilize RF scan guns to locate and pull lumber orders in the warehouse. + Package lumber pieces according to order specifications, including special packaging when required. + Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse by clearing lanes and cleaning up any debris. + Operate mechanical sweepers to maintain a tidy yard environment. + Use a trench saw to perform simple wood cuts, following safety protocols. + Assist with inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records. + Operate gas-powered tugs to move lumber products as needed. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. continuously throughout the shift. + Basic math skills for counting pieces and verifying order accuracy. + Teamwork skills, as working in pairs is essential to the role. + Comfortable working in a predominantly male environment. + Commitment to a minimum of 6 weeks for temporary assignments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with RF scan guns is a plus. + Prior general labor experience is beneficial. + Ability to read, write, and speak English is preferred for learning RF scanner use. **Why Work Here?** This position offers a unique opportunity to join a company that values its employees and provides pathways for career advancement.
