General Description
Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.
Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities Provide health certificate with conclusion "fit to offshore work", and BOSIET certificate or equivalent. Supervised and inspected the entire process of fabrication,
installation, testing & commissioning, and final acceptance. Review and approve installation method statements, risk
assessments, and lifting plans to ensure alignment with project
standards and local regulations. Verify foundation readiness, including bolt tensioning, grout
works, embedment tolerances, and cleanliness before tower
erection. Supervise step-by-step erection of tower sections, nacelle, hub,
and blades using crawler and assist cranes. Oversee blade lifting operations, including tag line control, pitch
setting, and safe installation sequence. Ensure correct torqueing, bolt tensioning, and flange alignment
as per OEM guidelines. Monitor electrical and mechanical pre-installation works (cabling,
earthing, grounding, tower internals). Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety walks, and stop-work authority
enforcement. Inspect and document QA/QC checks, NCRs, and punch items
for closure. Provide technical guidance to subcontractors and coordinate with
OEM supervisors. Liaise with civil and electrical teams to resolve interface issues
affecting installation progress. Track and report daily progress, delays, weather downtime, and
resource utilization. Support commissioning interface by ensuring turbines are
mechanically complete and safe for energization.
Job Qualifications
Provide professional bachelor's degree; Proficiency in English Proven experience in a similar role within the offshore/onshore wind industry. Engineering degree. Minimum five-eight years of experience, knowledge, and competence within the technical area. Communication Skill: Clarifiy and effectiveness in verbal and written communication Problem-solving Abilities: Candidates showing, they can handle construction-related challenges
