Wound Care RN - Part Time
**Employment Type:** Part time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Wound Care RN – Part Time** **3-days/week (Monday-Friday)** **Purpose** **:** **A wound care center RN is** **a specialized Registered Nurse focused on assessing, treating, and managing various acute and chronic wounds** **, often requiring expertise in advanced wound care,** **infection control, and patient education.** **What you will do:** *** Coordinate office visits, pre-procedure workups, and patient education with the multidisciplinary team.** *** Foster continuity of care between WHC and caretaker (home, hospital, HH etc.)** *** Coordinate the use of clinic staff, exam room space, and supplies.** *** Prepare for clinic to enable accurate and complete updates to the physician.** *** Triage telephone calls and assist with scheduling.** *** Maintain an open, professional line of communication with patients, physicians, and staff.** *** Safely operate all clinical equipment in the clinic.** *** Maintain appropriate infection control procedures.** *** Maintain skills and knowledge through training and continuing education.** *** Monitor condition of equipment and report malfunctions to Clinical Manager.** **Education and Qualifications** **:** **Registered Nurse, graduate from an approved School of Nursing.** **Current FL RN licensure.** **Minimum of 2 years of med-surg experience.
