Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Wound Care Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between CHI Health and Dignity Health, you will provide wound, ostomy, continence (WOC) focused care to patients.
Serves as a resource in educating patients and families in management of wound, ostomy, and continence conditions.Provides peri-operative education and stoma-site marking for patients undergoing ostomy surgery.Formulates, implements and evaluates the patient’s plan of care and adjust plan of care in consultation with the ProviderJob Requirements
BSN degree required within 2 years of start dateCurrent Nebraska license as a Registered Nurse. Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hireCertification in 1 specialty area(COCN, CWCN, CWOCN, CWON) within 3 years of start dateOne to three years experience in nursing necessary in order to provide and train others in proper care of wound & ostomy patients.Where You'll Work
