of Connecticutrsquos most comprehensive healthcare network Wound Care Advanced Practitioner Role ScopeThis position would support the Outpatient Wound Care Centers in the Fairfield Region and the Inpatient Wound Consult Service at St Vincentrsquos Medical Center Scope of practice would include weekly clinics at the outpatient centers along with weekly rounds consults bedside procedures at St Vincentrsquos Medical Center middot Comprehensive wound assessment and diagnosis of patientsmiddot Ordering appropriate lab tests imaging studies radiographic and other cardiac imaging studies interpret lab imaging studies maintain currency in advanced cardiac life supportmiddot Perform procedures such as wound debridement biopsies application of skin biologics and substitutesmiddot Management of Hyperbaric oxygen therapy treatmentsmiddot Coordinate care of assigned patients including nursing care nutrition medications dressings and adjunctive wound therapiesmiddot Review patient
