Position: Workshop Controller
Location: East of England Showground, Peterborough (PE2 6XE)
Work Patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

\n\nTo process and support with the operational workflow which will result in a safe and efficient workshop operation for Finished Vehicle Solutions\nTo manage a team of Technicians and the day to day processing of day work and WIP\nAssign job sheets to technicians and cross reference job times with Autodata\nControl the management of aged WIP to ensure customer SLA's are met\nLiaise with Contracts Team leads of ELF requests and future planning requirements \nEnsure that processes are followed to optimise revenue opportunities and adhere to KPI's. \nLiaise with sites stakeholders e.g Health & Safety / Facilities / Bodyshop to support in ad-hoc requests\nConduct ad-hoc jobs such as assisting with flat batteries, moving vehicles, road tests and collecting parts\nThis role will be required to learn customer requirements, assist with parts and the fleet administration team\n\n

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

\n\nPrevious experience within a Workshop/Technician management or similar role with the experience of managing job allocations is essential\nExperience within the motor/automotive industry\nBe a qualified Technician (level 3 or higher) is essential\nGood stakeholder management and customer management skills\nExcellent communication skills - Verbal and written\nHappy and comfortable to answer and deal with enquiries from account team and workshop team\nIT Literate - Comfortable to use I test drive, BMS, Auto pad and Customer related portals that assist with us performing to the customer SLA's.\nFull driving license is essential\n\n
