Job Description
The Workplace Manager is a high-visibility, "boots-on-the-ground" role responsible for launching and operating a new office site. The position blends technical facility management with high-end hospitality to ensure a seamless daily experience for employees and visitors. In this roles, you will be responsible for the following: Site Operations & Facility Management including, direct oversight of MEP, HVAC, and life-safety systems, including preventative maintenance and landlord coordination, managing the "hard" services of the office—repairs, asset inventories, and chemical/safety logs and ensuring the office is clean, safe, and fully operational every morning, including managing the internal support ticket system. Vendor & Staff Leadership including sourcing and managing a diverse range of 3rd party vendors (janitorial, pantry, security, landscaping, and handyman services), enforcing SLAs/KPIs through regular audits and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), managing the creche/daycare contract and any office-associated transportation programs. This candidate should also be able to oversee reception, visitor management, and compliant badging processes. Managing daily food programs, inventory, food safety and event catering. Providing logistical support for on-site events, including room resets and Tier-1 A/V troubleshooting. Financial & Administrative Oversight: managing OPEX forecasting, processing POs, and reviewing invoices. Creating seating plans, managing relocations, and assisting with future space expansions or projects. Leading emergency drills, maintaining safety permits, and partnering on business continuity plans. Navigating Indian building codes, fire safety regulations, and waste management practices. Tracking utility usage and driving recycling/composting initiatives.

Skills and Requirements
Experience: 5+ years in building operations or facilities, specifically with experience launching or scaling new sites in the Indian market
An "operator at heart" who is calm under pressure and possesses a "hospitality-first" approach to customer service.
Ability to provide "exec-ready" summaries for global stakeholders
Proficient with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), Excel, and basic A/V (Zoom Rooms) troubleshooting.
