We are seeking an experienced Workplace Manager with a strong hospitality background to oversee day-to-day workplace operations at our client site. This role combines facility management expertise with exceptional customer service skills to create an outstanding workplace experience. The successful candidate will manage workplace services, coordinate events, and ensure seamless operations that enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Operations Management Lead daily operations of assigned client site including space management, vendor coordination, and service delivery oversight. Ensure all workplace services meet established SLAs and client expectations while maintaining cost efficiency. Monitor facility systems, coordinate maintenance activities, and manage workplace technology platforms to optimize space utilization and employee experience.

Event Planning and Execution Plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events including town halls, client meetings, team building activities, and social gatherings. Manage event logistics from initial planning through post-event evaluation, including venue setup, catering coordination, AV requirements, and attendee management. Develop and maintain relationships with preferred vendors and ensure events align with corporate brand standards and budget parameters.

Customer Service Excellence Serve as primary point of contact for employee workplace requests and concerns, leveraging hospitality background to deliver exceptional service experiences. Implement and maintain customer service standards that create a welcoming, professional environment. Handle escalations professionally and develop solutions that enhance overall workplace satisfaction.

Vendor and Contract Management Oversee relationships with facility service providers including cleaning, catering, security, and maintenance vendors. Monitor contract performance, conduct regular vendor reviews, and ensure compliance with service agreements. Negotiate service improvements and manage vendor invoicing processes.

Health, Safety, and Compliance Maintain workplace safety standards and ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate policies. Coordinate emergency response procedures, conduct safety inspections, and manage incident reporting. Stay current on building codes, fire safety requirements, and accessibility standards.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in hospitality operations, event management, or facility management roles with demonstrated customer service excellence.

Technical Skills Proficiency in workplace management systems, event planning software, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with space planning tools and facility management platforms preferred. Strong project management capabilities with ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.

Core Competencies Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels. Strong problem-solving abilities with customer-focused approach to issue resolution. Demonstrated leadership capabilities in fast-paced, service-oriented environments.
