What this job involves

The Workplace Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day facilities management operations at their assigned Stripe location, ensuring exceptional workplace experiences that support productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction. This role serves as the primary on-site leader coordinating all workplace services while maintaining Stripe's workplace standards and culture.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Oversee all aspects of facility operations including maintenance, engineering services, workplace experience, and vendor managementLead and develop on-site teams including Workplace Coordinators, Guest Services Ambassadors, and technical staffServe as the primary point of contact for Stripe's local leadership team on all workplace and facilities mattersImplement site-specific workplace strategies aligned with Stripe's global standards and local requirementsManage site budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimizationEnsure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and corporate policiesCoordinate workplace projects including small renovations, furniture reconfigurations, and space planningDevelop and maintain strong relationships with building management, vendors, and service providersOversee the resolution of workplace issues through effective service request managementLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace experience and operational efficiencyCoordinate special events, meetings, and workplace activities to support Stripe's culturePrepare regular reports on site performance, occupancy metrics, and service delivery KPIsOther duties as assigned

Working Environment

This role is based on-site at the designated Stripe location, requiring regular presence to oversee operations and respond to workplace needs. The position involves walking throughout the facility daily, inspecting building systems, and addressing physical aspects of the workplace. Some evening or weekend work may be required during special events or maintenance activities. The Workplace Manager operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values innovation, employee experience, and operational excellence.

Desired experience and technical skills

Required

5+ years of experience in facilities management or workplace services3+ years of supervisory experience leading facility teamsStrong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and workplace operationsExperience managing vendor relationships and service contractsProficiency in facilities management software and Microsoft Office suiteExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven problem-solving abilities and attention to detailCustomer service mindset with a focus on enhancing employee experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related fieldProfessional certification such as FMP, CFM, or related credentialExperience working in technology industry environmentsKnowledge of workplace experience best practices and trendsExperience managing facilities in similar-sized corporate environmentsProject management skills and experience leading small to medium workplace projectsExperience with IWMS systems and workplace technology platformsUnderstanding of sustainability practices in facilities managementKnowledge of local regulations specific to the site locationG-Suite proficiency

Estimated total compensation for this position:

129,637.00 – 162,047.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
