The Role:
The Workplace Lead is responsible for the end to end workplace experience across Westpac Place & Barangaroo , with a focus on ensuring the workplace enables people to do their best work, every day.
This role is responsible for the experience of Westpac staff within the workplace. It focuses on how spaces function, how services are delivered, and how quickly and confidently issues are resolved. The role ensures that our workplace offering & tools, such as meeting rooms, lockers, technology, amenities, and shared spaces are used correctly, Workplace Guidelines and expected behaviours are managed, communication to support the experience of our workplaces is friendly, helpful, and reliable.
This position works in partnership with the Guest Services Manager, while maintaining clear accountability for internal workplace experience outcomes and partnering with FM Operations team to ensure experience is consistent, proactively managed and meet Westpac’ moments that matter.

About the role:
Ensuring the workplace delivers on critical moments and operates as a strategic asset toward being the #1 best workplace.Conduct proactive floor walks and observations to identify emerging issues, service gaps, or behavioral drift, then resolve them using appropriate processes and tools.Lead and develop Workplace Coordinator teams through coaching, setting clear expectations around presence and communication, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.Ensure workplace services are human-centered and intuitive rather than reactive or transactional, demonstrating innovation through implementation of endorsed solutions.Serve as primary workplace contact for Westpac stakeholders at site level, building strong relationships with Property, Strategy, Technology, and Business teams.Oversee daily workplace operations including soft services, meeting rooms, lockers, amenities, and shared spaces while ensuring seamless integration with Facilities Management.Deliver services aligned with client contracts and KPIs, providing clear reporting and insights on workplace performance, trends, and improvement opportunities.Build strong team alignment between Workplace Coordinators, facilities, hospitality/café, technology, and security teams to support positive workplace behaviors.Support workplace events and activations from a readiness and experience perspective, ensuring proactive communication of changes and impacts to staff.Monitor supplier performance and systems effectiveness, ensuring service partners meet agreed standards while maintaining accurate, actionable data and supporting incident response when needed.
What you will bring:
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality, facilities management, business administration, or related field or commensurate experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality or facility management, with at least 3 years managing teams delivering workplace experience
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience, preferably leading diverse teams
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences in a corporate environment
• Strong understanding of workplace trends and best practices in creating engaging office environments
