Description
We are looking for a Workplace Experience Coordinator to join our team in Pleasanton, California. This is a contract position requiring hands-on support for maintaining office services, coordinating events, and ensuring seamless day-to-day workplace operations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, issuing passes, and ensuring adherence to security protocols.
• Coordinate workplace services such as mail handling, office supplies management, and onboarding processes.
• Organize on-site events, including securing venues, setting up and breaking down spaces, and arranging necessary supplies.
• Address inquiries and complaints from employees, guests, and coworkers, providing thoughtful and customer-focused solutions.
• Facilitate dining and recreational activities by arranging and confirming reservations as requested.
• Manage janitorial and maintenance work orders, ensuring timely resolution of facility needs.
• Collaborate with vendors to procure goods and services while maintaining strong and reliable relationships.
• Follow property-specific security and emergency procedures, notifying appropriate personnel to ensure workplace safety.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to various group sizes, conveying detailed or complex information effectively.
• Execute straightforward tasks using established procedures while adhering to the manager's directions.
Requirements • Demonstrated experience in front-facing customer service roles with a detail-oriented demeanor.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with vendors, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Foundational knowledge of finance processes to support procurement and budget-related tasks.
• Proactive work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with workplace coordination tasks such as vendor management and event planning.
• Ability to follow standard work routines and procedures to resolve straightforward problems.
• Experience with Coupa or similar procurement systems is a plus. TalentMatch®
