Workplace Coordinator
Description We are in search of a Workplace Coordinator to join our team located in Chicago, Illinois. The primary function of this role is to oversee the efficient operation and coordination of the workplace within the consulting industry. This is a long term contract employment opportunity that involves managing large scale corporate events, overseeing supplies inventory, and enhancing workplace culture. Responsibilities: • Oversee the coordination of large scale corporate events to ensure smooth execution • Supervise the workplace to ensure efficient operation and resolve any arising issues • Manage and maintain the inventory of office supplies, placing orders when necessary • Engage in corporate communications to promote and maintain a positive workplace culture • Handle multi-line phone system and manage email correspondence efficiently • Foster a positive workplace culture through open communication and engagement activities • Coordinate various events in the workplace, ensuring they align with the company's standards and expectations • Answer multi-line phone system and manage email correspondence to facilitate effective communication within the organization.c Requirements • Proven experience in supervising and coordinating events, with a specific focus on corporate and large-scale events. • Strong ability to manage supplies inventory and order office supplies as needed. • Excellent skills in corporate communications both internally and externally. • Demonstrable understanding and ability to foster positive workplace culture. • Experience in operating and answering multi-line phone systems. • Proficient in managing email correspondence and online communication platforms. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • The ideal candidate for this role will have 3+ years of corporate office management experience, or similar TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
