Our Monheim facility is the workplace of 90 RD&E associates from 14 nationalities and serves as the European headquarters for Ecolab’s R&D activities. All research and development work for the Institutional, Textile Care, Food & Beverage and Health Care divisions in Europe is carried out here.

We are looking for a

Working student (f/m/d) – Packaging Engineering (12 months) - based in Monheim am Rhein

Your responsibilities

Define technical specification based on packaging performance requirements

Writing packaging reports for highly regulated products

Specify and conduct tests on a wide variety of containers used for the protection, display, and handling of products

Work directly with current Ecolab vendors and third parties for testing externally.

Communicate cross-functionally within RD&E and additionally to corporate functions such as Regulatory, Quality, Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service

Your profile

Minimum Qualifications:

Enrolled student in engineering (e.g. packaging -, mechanical engineering)

Good communication & collaboration skills, excellent analytical skills and ability to work in team environment

Good team player

Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Fluency in English is a must

Preferred qualifications:

Able to read and compare technical drawings and technical data sheets

Able to create reports for notified bodies and authorities
