At the AI Chapter of Siemens Financial Services, we build AI-based solutions for various use cases. For our team in Munich, we are currently looking for a working student to support us with software development tasks such as

Implementation of backend and frontend components for web-based data science applications Implementation of data pipelines (ETL, machine learning) Design and implementation of cloud-based infrastructures Development of LLM-based applications using chain frameworks, prompt engineering, and agentic approaches (LangChain) Support of our AI team in various analytical tasks Optional: Contribute to front-end components using JavaScript or Angular  

Your defining qualities

You are a student of Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field You have a passion for programming and solid programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, Java You have basic knowledge and first practical experience regarding database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) You are interested in the field of generative AI, machine learning (NLP) and data science and already have some experience in handling data from various sources You have at least 1.5 years left until the completion of your studies You are fluent in English You are willing to work in a highly collaborative team setting where we value sharing knowledge and learning from each other
