Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.



Your tasks and responsibilities:

You support the development and evaluation of AI-based methods for analyzing unstructured data (e.g., images of technical components)You work hands-on with Python, developing, testing, and refining algorithms in close collaboration with the teamYou explore and apply deep learning models, including foundation models (e.g., SAM), for segmentation and analysis tasksYou use modern software development tools, especially Git for version controlYou help visualize data, model results, and insights in a clear and structured way for technical audiences and stakeholdersYou contribute to the preparation of documentation, reports, and presentations for internal use

Your qualifications and experience:

You are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related fieldYou are at least for one year available (ideally longer)You have good programming experience with Python and ideally are confident using version control systems (Git)You have hands-on experience with deep learning and have already worked on projects involving the analysis of unstructured data (especially images)Ideally, you have worked with Python libraries such as NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
