About the position:

You will support the Customer Engineering team at an automotive manufacturer's R&D center on site. Your tasks will include maintaining technical systems and regularly updating development components. In doing so, you will gain valuable insights into the development of complex systems in the field of information and communication technology.

Your team:

You will be part of BMW's Customer Account Management team, which is responsible for all development projects in the areas of infotainment, telematics, and loudspeakers.

Your task:

Maintenance and servicing of existing systemsRollout of developed concepts across all infotainment test stationsPartial automation via relay switching and remote desktopIT infrastructure and local network supportPlanning and implementation of local NAS/shared data solutionsMechanics and construction (depending on the course of study)Integration of 3D models into the virtual vehicle environmentRegular updates of development components via debug accessUse of terminal programs / diagnostic tools for functional testingDocumentation in Confluence/Sharepoint

What you bring:

Student of information our automotive engineering and related fieldsHigh team and communication skills as well as confident appearanceStructured working method and strong problem-solving skillsInital experience with databases and programming languages is an advantageWorking hours 16 to 20 hours/week, full-time during semester breaks possible
