No wonder, considering they’re in charge of media relations, events, digital marketing, and digital communications, with which they shape BCG’s image among clients, employees, alumni, and job applicants, as well as the media and general public. Bringing the Group's global thought leadership to the world, they ensure that BCG expertise and studies are placed in the right channel at the right time and continuously develop our communications and marketing strategy.



What You'll Do

As a Working Student–Media Relations, you’ll support our German public relations experts at the interface between BCG and the German media. This includes researching and crafting compelling media narratives, as well as preparing and following up on interviews. You’ll support preparing materials for internal presentations and reporting as well as for external stakeholders and support the team with administrative tasks. You will be part of the broader Central Europe Marketing & Communications team with lots of opportunities to learn and grow.



What You'll Bring

You are an enrolled student in a course of study at an institution of higher education with a remaining tenure of at least 12 months.You ideally have some professional experience in an editorial department, PR agency, or corporate communications department.You have a good command of the software in the MS Office package.You have an interest in economic topics and in how journalism works.You are experienced in using AI tools and generally have a strong affinity for technology.Native-level German and excellent English skills round out your profile.

You have strong communication skills and can put complex topics into an understandable format.You’re flexible, motivated, and love to bring your own ideas to the tableYou have a sharp analytical mind and a proactive approach.You impress with your structured, independent, and detail-oriented working style, take responsibility and enjoy working in a team.

Who You'll Work With

The Media Relations team is BCG’s interface to journalists and is responsible for BCG’s presence in the media. The team consists of four colleagues. Your supervisor will help you familiarize yourself with the company and develop further, and you will also be able to draw on the experience of your coworkers.
