Workforce Services Team Lead

Summary

The Workforce Services Team Lead contributes to the overall success of the shared service function by delivering services in support of a customer-focused, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, efficiency, goal attainment, and continuous improvement. Provides administration of tools used in service delivery and monitors operations of the shared service team. Helps with the implementation of services, policies, and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

These duties and responsibilities described below represent the general tasks performed and other tasks as assigned.

Administers daily operations of People Assist, Document Manager, and Onboarding modules of UKG Pro to ensure efficient routing of requests and completion of tasks by Workforce Services team members. Develops and maintains Workforce Services SOPs, workflows, policies and procedures. Provides professional, analytical, and technical support to HR related projects and initiatives. Develop and monitor action plans and timelines to support problem solving and implementation of new initiatives. Provides coordination in the planning and implementation of various HR programs. Communicate and interact with internal and external partners. Create and review team service measures and reports for management. Ensure department deliverables meet quality standards. Prepare presentations and/or reports to communicate status and progress of new HR initiatives, as assigned. Responds to complex inquiries and processes complex transactions that require broad foundational knowledge of human resources as well as CRH-specific policies and practices. Provides hands-on expertise and support in the administration of onboarding, immigration, orientation, training, compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, time & attendance records, performance management, workforce credentials, HR-related regulatory accreditation, HR policy interpretation, routine corrective action, employment separation, and unemployment benefits. Ensures integrity of data through accurate data input and periodic audits of electronic records. Assist with various human resource and accreditation audits.

Additional Responsibilities

Responds to complex inquiries and processes complex transactions that require broad foundational knowledge of human resources as well as CRH-specific policies and practices. Provides hands-on expertise and support in the administration of onboarding, immigration, orientation, training, compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, time & attendance records, performance management, workforce credentials, HR-related regulatory accreditation, HR policy interpretation, routine corrective action, employment separation, and unemployment benefits. Facilitates the creation, modification, and maintenance of job descriptions according to CRH standards, limits creation of job codes and titles with very similar duties and responsibilities, ensures consistency with the industry norms, and ensures compliance with employment regulations and/or accreditation requirements. Assists in the submission of grievances for consideration. May perform other duties as assigned.

 

Education and Experience

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field. 

Preferred Education: N/A

Experience: Two years of experience in Human Resources in a position requiring independent judgment and discretion is required. An additional three years of experience in Human Resources as described may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

 

Skills Required: Excellent analytical and communication skills.  Advanced computer proficiency.
