Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and ambitious Data (& Analytics) Analyst to join our team. This full-time, hybrid/remote role offers an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to our data analytics initiatives. The position is designed for individuals looking to further develop their skills in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. This position may be temp-to-perm if required. 

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from diverse sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI or other similar platforms.

• Assist in data cleansing, transformation, and preparation for analysis.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven recommendations.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of data governance policies and practices.

• Conduct ad hoc analyses and present findings to internal stakeholders.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience developing leadership insights and analytics is preferred.

• The candidate would have completed or actively pursuing a degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics).

• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyze complex data sets for the four types of analytics: descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive.

• Experience with Python or other programming languages for data analysis and transformation is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with SQL and/or DAX for data querying and manipulation.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Knowledge of data lake (Azure, etc.) structures and usage is a plus.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual/remote team environment.
