Workforce Operations Analyst - Full-Time 1st Shift

Position Summary :

The Workforce Operations Analyst provides cross-functional operational support across workforce analytics, scheduling governance, and labor monitoring initiatives. This role ensures accuracy of workforce data, supports labor management practices, and partners with operational leaders to drive consistency, compliance, and informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

• Support workforce reporting processes, including labor trend analysis and preparation of operational workforce reports

• Monitor workforce metrics and coordinate follow-up with centers to address variances, discrepancies, and performance gaps

• Review and validate requisition requests to ensure accuracy, alignment with staffing needs, and adherence to organizational standards

• Assist with labor monitoring initiatives, including participation in workforce calls and supporting ongoing operational reviews

• Conduct and support compliance-related audits, including PBJ validation, quarterly submissions, and workforce data accuracy checks

• Maintain and update workforce reporting documentation, tools, and standardized resources

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce management, reporting processes, and labor optimization

• Provide support for workers’ compensation and union-related activities as needed

• Assist with scheduling processes and provide basic Smartlinx troubleshooting support as needed.

• Maintains confidentiality of resident/patient and employee information.


HIPAA:

• Follows and adheres to North Shore Health’s policies and procedures implementing HIPAA requirements for the privacy and security of protected health information

• Uses and/or discloses only minimum amount of Protected Health Information necessary to complete assigned tasks

• Reports all suspected violation of company’s HIPAA policies or procedures to North Shore Health Chief Compliance Officer.


Work Environment/Physical Requirements :

This is primarily a sedentary role with extended periods of sitting (approximately 80%) with occasional walking or movement (approximately 10%) and limited driving (approximately 10%) for site visits as

needed.


Required Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED (required)

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.


Required Experience & Skills:

• Experience working with workforce data, operational reporting, scheduling systems, or HRIS platforms

• Demonstrated ability to analyze operational metrics and identify trends, risks, or discrepancies

• Experience coordinating follow-up actions with operational leaders or field staff

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate documentation and reporting processes

• Ability to communicate data and insights clearly to both leadership and non-technical audiences.


Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in healthcare settings (e.g., skilled nursing, assisted living, or health systems)

• Experience with workforce management platforms (Smartlinx preferred)

• Familiarity with labor metrics such as PPD, overtime utilization, staffing coverage, and agency usage

• Experience supporting workforce reporting across multi-site organizations.


Additional Expectations :

• This role will be based full-time at our Support Center in downtown Milwaukee
