The WFM Platform Lead is the primary technology owner for the organization’s Workforce Management (WFM) ecosystem, with a focus on the UKG platform (e.g., UKG Pro WFM). This role ensures the WFM platform is stable, scalable, optimized, and aligned with business needs.
The WFM Platform Lead serves as a bridge between IT, HR, Operations, and vendor partners, overseeing technical design, configuration, integrations, enhancements, and ongoing system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Ownership & Strategy
+ Serve as the technical owner for all UKG/WFM applications, modules, and integrations.
+ Define and maintain the technical roadmap, ensuring the platform aligns with business priorities and technology strategy.
+ Evaluate and recommend new features, upgrades, and optimizations within UKG.
Technical Leadership
+ Lead the technical configuration and architecture of the UKG platform.
+ Design and implement system workflows, rules, and configuration changes following best practices.
+ Oversee integrations between UKG and other systems
+ Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal IT policies.
Operational Excellence
+ Monitor system performance and proactively address issues and risks.
+ Manage and prioritize incoming requests, enhancements, and break/fix work.
+ Develop and maintain documentation, including system designs, configurations, and SOPs.
+ Lead UAT and deployment processes for WFM releases, patches, and upgrades.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
+ Act as the primary liaison between IT, HR, Operations, and UKG vendor support.
+ Provide guidance and technical leadership to analysts, developers, and support teams.
+ Support HR and Operations in defining business requirements, translating them into functional/technical solutions.
Minimum Job Qualifications (Required):
+ 5+ years of experience supporting or administering WFM systems (preferably UKG Pro WFM, UKG Dimensions, or Kronos).
+ Strong technical knowledge of timekeeping, scheduling, accruals, labor rules, and compliance frameworks.
+ Hands-on experience with system configuration, integrations, and APIs.
+ Ability to lead technical projects from design through implementation.
+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
Preferred
+ Experience with UKG APIs, Dell Boomi, middleware, or ETL frameworks.
+ Background in HRIS or payroll systems.
+ Experience leading or mentoring technical staff.
Compensation and Benefits:
+ Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
+ Base salary range: $127-140k
+ This position is eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.

+ This position is eligible for paid time off. All Corporate employees are enrolled in our Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) plan.
