Position Information
This position may be filled as either a Probational or a Job Appointment (open to all qualified applicants); a Promotion (open to all statewide classified and agency-wide permanent status employees); or by Detail to Special Duty. Current permanent status, classified employees may be required to accept a Probational appointment if selected. If filled as a Job Appointment, there is a possibility that this position may be converted to a Probational Appointment should funding become available.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Utilize information, including, but not limited to, expenditure data, performance data reports, participant reports, audit findings, on-site office visits, etc., to determine the level to which programs within Louisiana Rehabilitation Services are accomplishing the goals and objectives of federal legislation.
+ Conduct monitoring for the agency, including scheduling, review of activities, on-site visits, maintaining files of all work papers, maintaining all appropriate documentation, and assisting in preparing monitoring reports.
+ Examine financial statements, journals, ledgers, monthly and quarterly financial reports, receipts, invoices, statements, charge memoranda, fee slips, and other individual financial transactions in reviewing information reported by the monitored entity.
+ Research, analyze, interpret, and compile reports on program effectiveness based on monitoring findings.
+ Develop written reports of findings outlining problem areas, operational trends, and procedural weaknesses.
+ Other duties as assigned, and travel must be performed as required.
