This position is part of Business Operations Business Unit, within the Global People Tech Services reporting to the Workday Operational Services Lead. The team is responsible for functional and technical support of data and business processes for Workday. The Support & Expertise Specialist reports to the Workday Operational Service Lead. The team works closely with People Services, People & Culture, Legal, ITS Business Partners, Facilities management, Payroll and T&E BPO partner and EE front line teams globally.
**Main responsibilities:**
+ Provide functional and technical support across HR systems and processes and drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives for all Sanofi entities.
+ Provide Workday module support, including Core HR, Compensation, and Performance.
+ Understand global and regional change requirements and translate them into actionable system and process enhancements.
+ Delivery Level 2 and Level 3 support across HR systems and processes, ensuring effective and timely resolution.
+ Drive continuous improvement of employee lifecycle processes within the captive Shared Service Center.
+ Deliver operational KPIs and ensure compliance with Sanofi policies, guidelines, and GDPR requirements.
**About you:**
+ **Experience:** 5-6 Years of experience in a HR role preferably in an international multicultural environment.
+ **Operations:** Prepare periodic and ad-hoc global reports using Workday to support business and HR decision-making. Manage Level 2 requests related to Workday modules and processes, including Core HR, Compensation, Talent, and Performance. Administer Workday account and process management, including delegation setup, reassignment of unassigned tasks, and user account updates. Manage organizational requests in Workday, including global reorganizations and organizational maintenance.
+ **Soft skills:** Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with HR partners, COEs, Shared Services, and IT teams. Clear and structured communication skills, able to explain system solutions and constraints to non-technical audiences. Strong problem-solving mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach. High attention to detail and accountability for data accuracy and delivery commitments.
+ **Functional skills:** Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes (hire, job change, termination, compensation changes, performance cycles) and their impact on HR systems. Experience with organizational structures and maintenance, including supervisory organizations, positions, job profiles, and reporting lines. Experience providing Level 2 HRIM / HRIS support, including incident analysis and resolution.
+ **Technical skills:** Strong hands-on experience with Workday, particularly Core HR, Compensation, Talent, and Performance modules. Experience creating standard, custom, and ad-hoc reports on Workday. Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools for L2 case management. Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced level proficiency in Excel.
+ **Continuous improvement:** Identify process improvement opportunities through elimination of redundant activities. Update country manual, work instructions and SOPs as new cases and information may arise.
+ **Education:** Graduate or Master’s degree with HR or business administration.
+ **Languages** : Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written).
