Work you’ll do:

As a Workday Integration & AI Senior Consultant, you will collaborate with clients and cross-functional Deloitte teams to design, develop, and implement seamless integrations between Workday and enterprise applications. You will extend Workday’s value by embedding AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, and agent-driven workflows across HR, Finance, Payroll, and other platforms. You should expect to be involved in the following:

Implement Workday integration solutions using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Web Services, and custom APIs.Design and configure integrations to downstream systems such as Payroll, Time & Attendance, Middleware (e.g., MuleSoft,Workato), and other enterprise technologies.Develop AI-enabled solutions that embed Agentic AI into Workday by leveraging Workday features such as Illuminate, ASOR (Agentic System of Record), and Agent Gateway to deliver intelligent automation and insights.Engineer AI agents on AWS (Bedrock), Azure (AI Foundry Agent Service), or GCP (Agent Space) to extend Workday into a connected, intelligent platform.Utilize Flowise, Sana, and iPaaS tools to orchestrate scalable, automated workflows.Apply expertise in Python, MCP, A2A, secure API frameworks, and Workday’s reporting suite to deliver AI-enhanced HR workflows, conversational agents, and cross-platform integrations.Work across the full lifecycle of a Workday project including Business Analysis, Design, Configuration, Development, Testing, Deployment, and Hypercare.Partner with client stakeholders in HR, Payroll, IT, and Finance to design scalable solutions, facilitate workshops, and guide decisions based on best practices.Conduct unit, integration, and UAT testing to validate performance and accuracy of integrations and AI solutions.Provide guidance on integration best practices, security, and data governance.Stay current with Workday releases, emerging AI technologies, and integration frameworks to proactively recommend innovative improvements.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of hands-on experience developing Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.4+ years of understanding HR, Payroll, and Finance processes with proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.4+ years of experience with integration technologies (SOAP/REST APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, middleware).Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying AI-driven workflows and solutions.4 +years of expertise in Python programming for automation, data transformation, and conversational AI development.4+ years of experience guiding workshops, gathering requirements, and facilitating client discussions.Ability to travel 10 - 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited immigration sponsorship may be available

 Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years of external Consulting experience with Workday or enterprise HRIS platforms.2+ years of experience embedding AI into HR/Finance systems, including agent-based workflows and intelligent automation.1+ years of familiarity within Workday’s AI assets (Illuminate, ASOR, Agent Gateway) or equivalent enterprise AI solutions.2+ years of proficiency with iPaaS and workflow automation tools such as Flowise, Sana, or Workato.4+ years of strong client-facing communication skills with proven ability to build executive-ready deliverables (Excel models, Visio diagrams, PowerPoint presentations).4+ years of deep functional expertise in one or more Workday modules (Core HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll)4+ years of industry experience in HR, Finance, or Payroll transformation programs.4+ years of deep functional expertise in one or more Workday modules (Core HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation, Payroll)4+ years of industry experience in HR, Finance, or Payroll transformation programs.

The wage range for this role considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $107,600 to $198,400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
