As a Workday Department Analyst II, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing efforts for Workday projects, including developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules across modules such as Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Management. This role involves creating and coordinating detailed test scenarios and cases with functional and technical teams, driving testing activities from kickoff through all phases to closure while ensuring defined entry and exit criteria are met, overseeing defect management processes from identification through resolution, and providing clear reporting on test progress, results, risks, and issues to project management and stakeholders.


A caregiver in this role works remotely from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. 


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units. Test Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and schedules for Workday projects.Coordinate with functional and technical teams to ensure test scenarios and cases are created and reviewed appropriately. This includes Workday platforms - Absence, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, &   Talent ManagementLeading testing from the Testing Kick-off meeting through the various testing phases to closure. Ensure entry and Exit criteria are met.Oversee the process of identifying, documenting, tracking, prioritizing, and resolving defects throughout the testing lifecycle.Track test progress, document results, and communicate status and issues to project management and sponsors. Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs and prepare reports based on analysis. Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance. Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact and identify opportunities for service and program improvement. Develop special reports and recommendations. Provide input in the development of operational plans, procedures and systems. Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvements. Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or a related field and two years of statistical analysis experienceOR High School Diploma/GED and six years of experienceOR Associate’s Degree and four years of experienceOR Master’s Degree and one year of experience Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Workday knowledgeMicrosoft applications experienceStrong collaboration, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills PMO testing methodologies including manual and automated testing, functional, integration, and UATExperience with Work Front and Jira

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periodsAbility to operate a computer and other office equipmentAbility to communicate and exchange accurate information
