Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Recruiting and Talent Configurator to join our team. The Workday Recruiting and Talent Configurator, on the Digital Technologies (IT) Human Resources (HR) Applications Team, coordinates, designs, builds, and implements Workday-enabled Recruiting and Talent solutions. The successful candidate must function as an expert in Talent acquisition and Talent management topics and demonstrate the ability to effectively implement them across Baker Hughes. This will be a primarily a Remote position supporting a global organization. This role needs to provide support and work overlapping hours up until 12 PM CST on weekdays.

Create high quality outcomes

In your role you will 

Demonstrate knowledge of Workday Recruiting and Talent modules and take the lead for driving configuration changes for the Recruiting and Talent modules along with other team members as needed.

Collaborate with Workday Recruiting and Talent Product Owners, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective system configurations within the Workday.

Recommend the best solution based on the requirements, budget, and time frame; with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified.

Work with multiple work streams, integration teams, and business organizations to ensure cross-functional impacts are considered and mitigated.

Facilitate effective brainstorming and design sessions; anticipate how potential ideas may play out in the organization and what behaviors it will drive.

Stay up-to-date with the latest Workday releases and provide suggestions around use cases accordingly.

Follow company defined change control processes to implement the changes and solutions.

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Finance, or Human Resources

Workday Recruiting, and Talent Certification is preferred

Minimum 2 years of Workday Recruiting and Talent implementation or support experience

Desired Characteristics:

Experience as a Workday Recruiting and Talent Consultant

Deep knowledge of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management functional processes

Demonstrated knowledge of Business Process configurations, Custom Reports, Calculated Fields EIBs & migration process.

Solid understanding & hands‑on experience configuring Workday Talent & Performance, including goals, reviews, succession, talent calibration, and talent profiles.

Solid understanding & hands‑on experience configuring Workday Recruiting, including job application process, EA templates via Workday Docs, Job posting templates & job requisition types & processes, candidate lifecycle.

Hands-on experience with Workday Peakon configuration including survey design and question configuration is a plus.

Strong understanding of Workday HCM foundations and how Talent modules integrate with Core HR, Compensation, Learning, and Recruiting

Basic understanding of Recruiting and Talent integrations.

Configuration experience in Core HCM and Security modules is a plus.
