Workday Compensation Configuration Specialist (Freelance - remote from Spain)

What we look for?

We are seeking a Workday Compensation Configuration Specialist to lead the design, configuration, testing, and support of the Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation modules

We would only be interested in Freelance professionals. 

High english level is required.

100% remote from Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

-      Design and configure Compensation and Advanced Compensation components in Workday:

o Salary, hourly, allowance, and bonus plans

o Compensation grids and guidelines

o Merit, promotion, and bonus cycles

o Compensation eligibility rules

o Compensation review process setup

-      Build and maintain calculated fields, condition rules, and business processes specific to compensation.

-      Collaborate with Compensation and Total Rewards teams to gather business requirements and translate them into functional Workday solutions.

-      Configure and support Annual Compensation Review (ACR) processes, including cycle launches, testing, and troubleshooting. • Develop custom reports and dashboards to support compensation analytics and governance.

-      Participate in Workday semi-annual releases, reviewing new features, performing regression testing, and implementing improvements.

-      Support compensation-related security configurations, ensuring proper access and compliance.

-      Use EIBs and data loads to support compensation cycles and configuration changes.

-      Document configurations, test scripts, training materials, and process flows.

Mandatory requirements:

-      4+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Compensation configuration.

-      Strong understanding of compensation structures, pay ranges, bonus plans, and eligibility logic.

-      Experience with Advanced Compensation configuration, including merit and bonus events.

-      Proficiency with Workday calculated fields, condition rules, and business processes.
