Workday Business Analyst
Job Description A large global software company is seeking a Business Analyst to support the Compensation workstream. This role involves partnering with multiple COEs, Business Technology, and Consulting teams to test and enable future-state business processes, organizational structures, and cross-functional dependencies as part of transforming the Workday tenant and overall experience. Key responsibilities include conducting business analysis, gathering requirements, facilitating discussions, and performing needs assessments. Gather and document business requirements from multiple stakeholder groups. Translate complex or conflicting inputs into clear, actionable requirements. Lead and support workshops, interviews, and process discussions. Manage the compensation request backlog and partner with business leaders bi‑weekly to prioritize needs. Work closely with Business Technology and project teams to ensure alignment and smooth cross‑functional collaboration. Support project planning, tracking milestones, and maintaining timelines. Monitor risks and issues, identify owners, and drive follow‑through to resolution. Communicate project updates, decisions, and changes to stakeholders. Help organize complex workstreams into clear plans with defined outcomes.
