Workday Business Analyst
Description We are looking for an experienced Workday Business Analyst to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the Workday system aligns with business objectives by gathering requirements, configuring modules, and providing system support. You will collaborate with stakeholders across departments to enhance system functionality and drive process improvements. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with finance teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for Workday system enhancements. • Configure Workday modules based on business needs and conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and functionality. • Provide day-to-day support for Workday users, troubleshoot system issues, and resolve technical challenges. • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. • Partner with IT and other teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday with other systems. • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures, and deliver training sessions to users on new features. • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences and act as a liaison between departments. • Participate in Workday updates and releases, assessing new features and implementing necessary changes. • Monitor data integrity and system security, addressing compliance requirements and mitigating risks. • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Workday system to enhance efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with Workday systems. • Strong expertise in Workday ERP and Workday Financial Management, including configuration and troubleshooting. • Proven ability to conduct gap analyses and translate business needs into actionable system requirements. • Experience with Adaptive Planning and creating dashboards for financial reporting. • Knowledge of compliance assessments and ensuring data security within systems. • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address system-related challenges. • Familiarity with integration processes and collaboration with IT teams.
