Work Pack Engineer

We are seeking a talented Work Pack Engineer to join our offshore decommissioning project.

In this role, you will:

Develop execution related support activities pertaining directly to the contract.Assist in maintaining a robust work process between Engineering, Procurement, and Decommissioning.Manage activities from both cost and schedule perspectives during the Planning and Execution phases, ensuring all activities are appropriately closed out.Undertake Offshore Site Inspections

About You

Tertiary Engineering qualifications or relevant industry experience5-8 years exposure across Oil Gas, Petrochemical Plant or Heavy Industrial sectors.Offshore exposure is highly desirableDeveloped skills in working with site-based engineering teams in developing project scope, planning and estimating and project delivery

Key responsibility areas

Responsible for the compilation of work packs and job cards to meet project requirements, aligned to UGL practice.Accountable for the quality output of the execution work packs, job cards, formats, content.Ensures accuracy of plan / decommissioning schedule in conjunction with work pack / job card development.Provide adequate support to Project engineer and associated teams prior to and during implementation of project scope.Engages with individual project teams / Project engineer to ensure accuracy of Work Breakdown Structure, job card plan alignment.Ensures Job card to estimate variations are identified and actioned in accordance with all relevant UGL requirementsEnsure that project planning incorporates HSE requirements for safe execution of work packsLiaise with the project schedule with the UGL scheduler, providing regular schedule updates on work pack progress completion for the purpose of reporting
