Work-Life Specialist
**Work-Life Specialist** **Location :** This role enables associates to work virtually full-time, with the exception of required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development. _Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law._ The **Work-Life Specialist** is responsible for serving as a liaison/connector between Carelon members, and requested resources (such as housing, transportation, dependent care and financial assistance programs). Helps to bridge members to available resources and conducts follow up to ensure successful connection. The Work-Life Specialist works in a call-center setting, accepting inbound calls directly from members and client company representatives. **How you will make an impact :** + Conduct research using internal and partner resources to locate requested services and share them back with members. + Determines need for additional services, in conjunction with case management and provider. Linkage to other available resources/services as needed, such as behavioral health services and employer sponsored benefits. + Coordinates identification of and referral to local, state or federally funded programs. + Identifies barriers to plan compliance and coordinates resolutions. + Identifies opportunities that impact quality goals and recommends process improvements. + Documents case and compliance updates in electronic medical records. + Establishes and maintains relationships with agencies identified in appropriate contract. + Partners closely with internal team and leadership to help maintain and update resource library. **Minimum Requirements:** + Requires a H.S. diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. **Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences :** + We encourage people of all experiences and backgrounds to apply. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $23.01 to $37.66/hr.
