Job Description
Insight Global is hiring a remote Warehouse Systems Engineer for a Fortune 500 leader in home improvement retail. This role is ideal for proactive professionals who thrive in high-volume, fast-paced supply chain environments—specifically within Rapid Deployment Centers (RDCs). You’ll be responsible for managing and optimizing the Manhattan WMS platform (versions 2013, 2015, and beyond), along with integrated tools like Honeywell, Yard Management Systems, and proprietary systems. The role includes supporting both on-prem and cloud-based deployments to ensure seamless system performance and uptime, executing SQL queries within Manhattan’s OLPN, and troubleshooting system issues across RDC operations. You’ll collaborate with IT, operations, and contractor teams to align systems with business goals, while integrating and maintaining environments across Linux and Windows servers. Additionally, you’ll contribute to modernization efforts using Java, Kubernetes, and GCP, and explore AI-driven enhancements to improve warehouse efficiency and data visibility.

Skills and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in labor management within large-scale distribution or fulfillment environments.
- Proven ability to optimize labor operations and interface with technical systems.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with labor performance tools and reporting.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong experience with SQL and Oracle.
- Comfortable writing stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Hands-on experience with Manhattan WMS, especially open systems/WMOS.
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
- Exposure to active realm configurations and system integrations.
- Experience using JIRA for tracking work stories and operational tasks. - Professional experience with GCP and/or Kubernetes
