Wireline Crew Lead
A large energy company located in Alberta, Canada is looking for a Wireline Crew Lead to join their team to support a new major project. This position is a 6 month contract to hire and will pay between $38 to $48/hr. Below are some responsibilities associated with the role.

- Assists with training and guidance of equipment operators, prepares and supervises the load out of equipment for the job.
- Communicates with the customer in all related to operations at the well site.
- Manages the wireline crew and directs and supports their progression and operations in the field and shop.
- Ensures all safety procedures are followed by his/her team.
- Fills out service orders and job-related paperwork completely and correctly.
- Directs the rebuilding of tools used in the servicing of the well and assists, as needed.
- Loads and assembles perforating guns without supervision.
- Responsible for keeping all explosive materials secured and inventories accurate.
- Responsible for reporting in a daily basis accurate consumption of explosive material.
- Operates and maintains assigned specialized wireline equipment as per service operating procedures.
- Ensures all equipment is complying with the required certifications and fits the job conditions.
- Performs all duties in compliance with Customer and Company policies and procedures and applicable industry regulations.
- Actively leads safety meetings to identify and address risks and hazards.
- Utilizes competency Processes to improve service quality.
- Keeps his/her required certifications up to date.
- Knowledgeable of company policies, HSE standards, and service operating procedures
