Process and Maintenance Engineer (Wire Embedding and Lamination Equipment Specialist)

Position Summary

Thales is looking for a Wire Embedding and Lamination Equipment Specialist who is responsible for developing, optimizing, and overseeing the WE + Lamination process used in the manufacturing and production of materials. This role focuses on ensuring efficient, high-quality processes that meet production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to improve the overall process, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions to enhance performance and productivity.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Design, implement, and refine process to improve efficiency, precision, and quality. Continuously analyze and optimize existing processes for cost reduction and enhanced throughput.Comply with the customer specific requirements (CSR) and Special characteristic to (SC) deliver the production according to the quality standards of our internal and external customers.Develop multiple concepts related to Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), design process verification plans and risk assessment tools to assist in decision making.Identify and resolve issues related to the WE + Lamination stages of production.Collaborate with production teams to address process failures and improve system reliability.Ensure that the process meet all relevant quality and safety standards; conduct regular inspections and tests to verify product specifications and compliance with industry regulations.Oversee the maintenance and calibration of machinery used in the WE + Lamination processes.Work with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and performance.Work closely with other engineering teams, production staff, and management to report on process performance, troubleshoot issues, and suggest improvements.Prepare technical documentation and reports on process changes and outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

Engineering degree in Mechatronic, Electronic and Telecommunications or related Fields.2 years of experience in activities of process Engineering, Maintenance, Automation, Continuous Improvement o related activities.Availability to rotate work shifts (Night and Day)Intermediate-advanced English proficiency, oral and written.Strong communicator and negotiator, analytical, results-oriented, customer-oriented, a strong time manager, autonomous, honest, and empathetic, strong focus on helping customers and ensuring their satisfaction.
