**Job Title: Wire Cutter** Responsible for pulling wire for customer orders and organizing spools of wire and other materials. This involves sometimes pulling three wires at once to bundle into a new spool. The wire is often dense and heavy, requiring strength and precision. Run machines that bundle and spool the wire. **Responsibilities** + Pull wire for customer orders and organize spools of wire and other materials. + Bundle multiple wires into new spools, often dealing with dense and heavy wires. + Utilize electrical crimpers, cutters, and machines to cut the wire. + Operate a forklift to manage spools from the racking, if experienced. + Conduct occasional inventory checks of the wire department. + Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, organizing, and scrapping materials. **Essential Skills** + Experience with wire cutters, crimpers, or spooling machines. + Understanding of different wire widths/gauges, such as 500mcm of copper. + Ability to lift 75lbs regularly. + Basic electrical knowledge. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is beneficial but not required. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that is continuously growing and offers significant career growth opportunities. The position requires the ability to lift 75lbs independently and frequently **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
